Thanks for your kind words Hardik! Outdoor photography is my passion, and I always aim to capture colour as best I can. It’s one of the many things that makes every landscape unique.

Hi Ben! Hope your project is going well. I’ve been asking other travel bloggers who’s sites I follow for suggestions for a good travel camera. What equipment do you use? I’ve been thinking of upgrading my DSLR and lens, or perhaps going in for one of those smaller models, which are easier to carry around.

Hi Kan! I have one of those smaller models πŸ™‚ I’m using a Sony NEX 6 primarily with the kit lens which is 16-50mm. The great thing about the lens is that when the camera is off it reduces in size by about half, so it’s great for portability. I wanted something smaller and lighter than a DSLR and so far it’s fit the bill perfectly. I can fit it really easily in a small backpack or camera bag and it doesn’t weigh me down. I also have the 55-210mm lens but don’t use that one so often.

I went for the NEX 6 over other Sony models because I really wanted the electronic viewfinder. If you’re not bothered about that one of the other smaller Sony models might be better value for money.

If you have any more questions just let me know! More than happy to help as always πŸ™‚

    Hello Ben,

I came across your blog, I’m impressed & I love it. I wish to set up my blog similar to yours. I don’t write very well, so it will mainly attach with photos. I like your layout; simple, neat & nice. Is yours a paid blog from word press?

Hi Teck, thanks for getting in touch. My blog is hosted by, but my theme is provided by them for free. It’s called Twenty Twelve. Although I am thinking of changing it as I would like my photos to be a bit bigger on the page. I wish you all the best with your blog, let me know how you get on!

Hey! I’m very sure you’re researching your theme very well, but just in case the Twenty Fourteen Theme slipped by out of your sight, you should really try it! The Featured images are given complete justice. Your terrific photos will shine in that spotlight.

Keep up the good work. πŸ˜€

Hello! Thanks for the tip πŸ™‚ I had a quick look at the Twenty Fourteen Theme – the front page looks fantastic, but I prefer to have the blog roll on the home page so people can get right to the content. Also I think it requires featured images to be used and I haven’t done that on any of my existing posts. I’m not sure I can face going back through and editing them all!

      Hey Jeppe & Katja,

Thank you so much for the nomination! I feel honoured that you would think of me as a versatile blogger πŸ™‚ Unfortunately I am not accepting awards right now, as I am trying to keep the content on my blog focused on my photography.

I hope you understand, and thanks again.
